Amparo Ochoa is a Latina artist born in Santa Ana, California. She is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach with fine art degrees in Drawing & Painting and 3D Metal Arts. Her work touches on many Latina topics, ranging from identity and tradition to relationships and unrequited love. Amparo pulls inspiration from her own life experiences, but has also been driven by narratives told by her parents and family. Amparo's curiosity to know more has taken her back to Mexico on many occasions inspiring the paintings she shares with us today.
